This was a video game designed during the first term of the third year of the Design and Development of Video Games degree.
This was my first contact with Unity 2D, but not with C#, with whom I had worked before. The main target of this project was to combine in a single video game, the knowledge acquired throughout the quarter related to the narrative and design of the video game, its graphic section, as well as the planning and group work through Scrum. In this project I was in charge of the programming in an integral way. This project was within the context of a collaboration with the Museum of Contemporary Art of Castellón, on the theme of "Leisure Spaces". In our group we wanted to focus the project around leisure as work; that is, so that some people can have leisure, there are always others behind who are working. That's why the main narrative of the game revolves around a worker at a holiday resort on the Costa Blanca and some of the subplots focus on labour exploitation, mass tourism or the demands of the proletariat. For this reason a play on words is made in the title by mixing Lie with Leisure (the lie of leisure).
